		<description>I had to create a marketing plan for a little job I have. This post helped tremendously! But my analytical mind had to put it in an outline form for my boss. I agree with one of the above comments, that some detailed examples would be nice...maybe for another entry. 

This company that I&#039;m working for puts magazines &amp; fishbowls at places where women will be waiting...what kind of marketing would that be???  

Additionally, they send post cards to current customers who they haven&#039;t seen in a while, is that still considered direct mail marketing? I guess that leads me to a general question...do you use different terms when marketing to current customers? For instance Facebook, current fan (but not yet a customer) and prospective fan. Or newsletter subscriber, but not yet a customer (hasn&#039;t made a purchase)???</description>
